Why do people do what they do? If you’re in marketing, fundraising or sales this is an incredibly important question that is almost impossible to answer. But the pursuit of the answer is what is fun and why I’ve been loving a book called Science of Giving: Experimental Approaches to the Study of Charity. It’s chock full of studies and findings that attempt to get at why donors do what they do.
